POPPY KING
I met Poppy King this past Saturday at Henri Bendel. She was so darling! The author of “Lessons of a Lipstick Queen” and a Beauty Entrepreneur, Poppy King was born to live her glamorous life. When she was younger, she claims she wouldn’t take off a red tutu (the one featured on the backcover of her book) for weeks! She helped me pick out the perfect red lipstick after testing about five different shades on her own hand. I thought if I was going to go red, might be best to have guidance from the “Lipstick Queen” herself :) She signed a copy of her book for me and even gave me her e-mail address in case I ever had any questions about the book or needed any “life guidance” in general. She told me she never forgets a single person she meets and with a display of such genuine grace, I absolutely believe her.
Can’t wait to start reading!
